Our client is looking for several Cardiologists to join their dynamic and progressive teams situated in two locations. This rewarding clinical experience offers full-time or part-time hours with flexible scheduling options to suit your lifestyle. The Cardiologist will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with cardiac and vascular diseases, as well as performing diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will also be responsible for working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care. This position offers an opportunity to work with a talented and experienced team of professionals in a modern and well-equipped facility. The care team includes Cardiologists, General Internists, Pediatric Cardiologists, nurse educators, cardiac care nurses, and physician assistants. You will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and knowledge, as well as contribute to the advancement of cardiac and vascular care. THE CLINICS
The clinics are professionally managed to provide the highest quality patient care. The dedicated team ensures that all administrative and clinical areas are managed to an exceptional standard, allowing physicians to concentrate their time on their patients. The clinics offer a comprehensive range of services, with over 50,000 patient interactions every year and more than 35,000 diagnostic tests per year. You will be part of a team that understands that each patient is different and ensures that the best treatment plan is designed for everyone.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Independent Practice Certificate of Registration from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
- Membership in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
- Royal College certification in Cardiology (or pending certification)
- US-trained specialists are exempt from The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons eligibility requirements (US Board Certified Physicians are eligible for an independent license in Ontario)
- Internationally trained candidates who pass the subspecialty exam being launched by the CPSO (College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario) will be considered
- Medical liability insurance from the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) or equivalent required, appropriate to the category of practice
