Alternative Funding Agreement for E.R. ($4,801 per 24hr shift)

Shifts are from 0800 to 0800

Physician lounge within the hospital is outfitted for overnight stay, however, physicians typically prefer to stay in hospital accommodations (fully furnished home with all amenities), and go to/from accommodation to hospital as needed.  Accommodations provided by hospital at no cost.

Travel expenses reimbursed as per Hospital travel policy

Hospital meals provided at no cost.

Physicians require current ACLS and ATLS.  3rd year not required.

24-hour E.R. cares for an average of 700 patients per month. 25% of cases are urgent/emergent (majority of cases are cardiac related, with minor injuries/minor trauma such as broken bones, lacerations, etc...).  Nearest Referral Centre is Timmins and District Hospital - 45 minutes from Iroquios Falls.  Our Emergency Department is supported by the North East Virtual Critical Care Program and ED peer to peer program.
