The Happy Valley Family Health Team (FHT) located in St Marys, ON is recruiting a LOCUM physician join the group of 12. The dates of locum coverage are negotiable.

The group is co-located in a state of the art medical building with an on site health health/fitness facility (YMCA).

Physicians can choose to provide full scope family medicine including, ED, hospitalist, nursing home and palliative care.  Alternatively, those wishing to focus practice in clinic exclusively are invited to apply.

Physicians practicing at the Happy Valley FHT are well supported by a multi-disciplinary team of professionals including NPs, nurses, dietician, pharmacist, mental health worker, addictions counsellor and administrative support.

Hospitalist and ED work for those interested is available at St Marys Memorial Hospital, located adjacent to the clinic. St Marys Memorial Hospital is a 20 bed well equipped hospital.  The emergency department is staffed 24/7 by family physicians with back up available.  The hospital has on site specialty clinics in Internal Medicine and Surgical Services.  

Family Physicians are well supported through colleagues at Stratford General Hospital, approximately 15 mins away.  Both hospitals are part of the Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance.

The community of St Marys has a population of 7,000 and is a 90 minute drive West of Toronto and approximately 25 mins from London.  The town is known as Stonetown because of their unique limestone architecture.

Accommodation is available to physicians providing locum coverage.
