Central Hastings FHO is currently seeking a Family Physician to join our team to take over a departing members roster.  The position is at the Tri Area Medical Centre located in Madoc Ontario.  We currently have 7 physicians in our FHO with five currently working from the Madoc Site: The remaining two practice in nearby Marmora.  Our FHO is affiliated with the Central Hasting FHT which provides our patients access to many allied health professionals such as Social Workers, Dietitian, Foot Care Nurse, Spirometry, Diabetes and Smoking Cessation programs.  Our clinic is fully equipped with furnished exam rooms, a large common office area, reception/waiting room, and utilized Telus PS Suite EMR.  There is lab service on-site, and the opportunity is available to share the cost of reception and nursing staff with the existing physicians.

The only on-call obligations are the requisite FHO after hours clinics on weekday evenings from 5-8 PM and one 3-hour weekend shift shared among all FHO physicians.

There is also opportunity to work at a long term care facility that is currently being built just a two blocks from the clinic.

The Madoc Medical Centre is in prime cottage country, just 3 minutes north of Moria Lake, 35 minutes north of Belleville and 50 minutes East of Peterborough making it easily accessible from both centers.  The clinic building is owned by the municipality and offers physicians a turnkey operation rent free, and it also includes all building utilities, maintenance (snow removal, landscaping, etc.  There is also a substantial signing incentive offered by the County of Hastings-in addition to many other perks!
