 We are looking for locum coverage and/or longer term recruits to join our group.  West Parry Sound Health Centre is located at the heart of the 30,000 Islands area of Georgian Bay.  One of the fastest-growing and desirable communities in the region, just two hours from Toronto/YYZ via 4-lane highway.

 We have three ORs plus an endo suite (currently staffing two lists per day).  The hospital features 70 acute care beds, an 18-bed ER, a 6-bed ICU, and the usual amenities (lab/blood bank, modern CT scanner, ultrasound, etc...).  Friendly surgical team includes multi-talented general surgeons (who also do C-sections for a low-volume, low-risk OB program), orthopedic surgery (trauma service as well as elective arthroplasty program), endoscopy, plus visiting urology and dentistry.  Great internal medicine support!

 Collegial anesthesia group currently sharing a 1-in-3 call schedule due to a retirement and a colleague relocating, but who would love to move back to 1-in-4 or 1-in-5.  Remuneration for permanent work is very generous (includes large NRRRI incentive, and the highly-desirable NSAPP program).  Option to add extra work in ER, hospitalist, or family medicine - or simply do a share of the anesthesia work and enjoy your free time to hike, golf, sail, fish, bike, ski, paddle, and explore.

 We are flexible on timeframes and dates for locums, and would certainly welcome a new permanent colleague if the fit is good!
