I am looking for a locum to cover my practice from April 2025 to Sept 2025 (flexible on dates).

My practice is located at Smyth Medical Centre, a well managed medical building centrally located in Ottawa; 5 minutes by car or 15 minutes walking distance from the Ottawa General Campus, CHEO, and the University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine. Underground parking available if needed.

You will have your own office and 2 fully equipped examining rooms plus your own front desk staff, who will do vitals and room the patients for you.

The building houses several specialists, including Allergists, Respirologists, Gastroenterologist, Paediatricians and more. Ancillary health professionals including psychologists are also available. Additionally, there is an onsite lab with diagnostic imaging services, a pharmacy, and a dental practice.

My practice is approximately 1000 patients. We use Telus PSS EMR with Ocean integration.

Work 4 half days Monday to Thursday 10:00 to 3:00, 15 minute time slots. 

Monday is virtual appointments only. Staff is on site on Mondays, but you can work off site. One urgent care shift per week from 5-8 pm on Tuesdays and one in 8 weekend shifts on Saturdays 9-12. Urgent care shifts are booked on the same day for urgent cases only.
