Locum two days per week in a 3-member Group Practice

A physician in a 3-member group practice is looking for a locum to cover her practice for up to 6 months, starting August 2025. The ideal candidate will cover the practice August-January, two days per week, preferably on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and will be expected to manage the inbox for work from those days. Start and end dates are flexible, as are the actual days per week.

With a roster of less than 800 patients, the locum can expect to work 9:00-5:00PM, seeing approximately 20 patients per day. Although the practice is part of a FHO, there is no requirement for the locum to cover after hours or weekend shifts.

Working within a new clinic space, the locum will have the opportunity to work alongside two physician colleagues while being supported by two front office admin. The clinic is also well supported by the on-site pharmacist who is readily available for consults. Just steps away from the office are other services including a lab, x-ray and ultrasound, a hearing clinic, eye care clinic, and others.

The office has 6 exam rooms to be shared amongst the 3 physicians, a shared office space, a kitchenette area and free parking. The clinic uses Oscar Pro for patient records, and Ocean for communication with patients and referrals.

The successful candidate can expect to receive a daily stipend as well as any fees from forms.
