Family physician in practice  for over 30 years sharing office with one other full time family physician, belonging to Midtown FHO of approximately 30 physicians.  We are seeking another physician to either share practice half time of approximately 1200 patients.  Wide range of patients from pediatric and whole life spectrum.  Approximately 25% of patients are over age 65.

Half time option:  the candidate is seeking to work half time in family practice, in blocks of time, sharing a roster of patients.  For example: work 2 or 4 weeks on, then 2 or 4 weeks off.

Excellent admin staff; EMR is AVAROS.

Compensation based on splitting capitation payments in the FHO, plus FFS and shadow billing.

Expenses: 30% of above.

Office is in the Apex Medical Building at 960 Lawrence Ave. West (Lawrence and Dufferin area); the building hosts a laboratory, radiology and ultrasound and several specialists and pharmacy.

This would be set up as a long-term locum within the FHO.

This position is not intended for the candidate to build a separate practice, but to enjoy working  half time in family practice and have flexibility to do other clinical work as desired outside the office.
