Why Windsor-Essex?
· A richly diverse and scenic region: Discover a dynamic community that offers everything from historic riverfront parks and cultural festivals to world-class restaurants to the Province’s Lake Erie North Shore wine country
· Ideal for families and partners: Excellent schools, a world-class waterfront and vibrant local culture (festivals, wineries, waterfront trails) make it perfect for family and lifestyle
· Affordable and connected living with scenic and recreational amenities in a culturally diverse region - live on the water or in any of the unique and diverse areas of our burgeoning community
· Community and convenience: Take advantage of the “big city” amenities of Detroit - its diverse culture, sports, arts, and travel hubs - while enjoying life with a small-town community feel. Windsor has one of the world’s most scenic and extensive riverfronts as well as sculpture gardens and a lively arts, food, and festival scene
The Windsor-Essex area is ecologically rich with extensive parkland, along with a southwest location that extends warm weather activities such as golfing, gardening, and water sports. Windsor offers the unique opportunities of a larger metropolitan area and the benefits of a smaller community. Located in a vibrant border city, Windsor offers an exceptional quality of life. The region boasts a lower cost of living compared to other major Canadian cities and a short commute time, giving you more time for what matters most - your home and family. The city is rich with cultural attractions, beautiful waterfront parks, and a diverse culinary scene. It’s an ideal place to establish a practice and enjoy a balanced lifestyle.
