Become part of a collegial ENT team supported by cutting-edge technology, deep community roots, and a bold vision for the future.

Opportunity Snapshot

·        Position: ENT Surgeon (Otolaryngologist - Head & Neck); Otology subspecialty welcome but not essential; Certification in Otolaryngology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada

·        Start date: the available start date for this position is January 2026 but flexible

·        Benefits: relocation incentive, wellness programs, and highly competitive compensation

·        Balanced clinical life: outpatient clinic availability, regular OR access, 1-in-5 shared call rotation

·        Established and collaborative ENT team, with opportunity to join existing turnkey practice

·        State-of-the-art equipment: image-guided sinus navigation, NIMs, cutting edge technology

·        New hospital: 1.6M sf state-of-the art hospital breaking ground in 2026

·        Formal academic engagement: teaching, research, and mentorship opportunities through our strong affiliation with the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry.

·        Potential for leadership roles within a forward-thinking surgical department

Why Windsor-Essex?

·        A richly diverse and scenic region: Discover a dynamic community that offers everything from historic riverfront parks and cultural festivals to world-class restaurants to the Province’s Lake Erie North Shore wine country

·        Ideal for families and partners: Excellent schools, a world-class waterfront and vibrant local culture (festivals, wineries, waterfront trails) make it perfect for family and lifestyle

·        Affordable and connected living with scenic and recreational amenities in a culturally diverse region - live on the water or in any of the unique and diverse areas of our burgeoning community

·        Community and convenience: Take advantage of the “big city” amenities of Detroit - its diverse culture, sports, arts, and travel hubs - while enjoying life with a small-town community feel. Windsor has one of the world’s most scenic and extensive riverfronts as well as sculpture gardens and a lively arts, food, and festival scene

The Windsor-Essex area is ecologically rich with extensive parkland, along with a southwest location that extends warm weather activities such as golfing, gardening, and water sports. Windsor offers the unique opportunities of a larger metropolitan area and the benefits of a smaller community. Located in a vibrant border city, Windsor offers an exceptional quality of life. The region boasts a lower cost of living compared to other major Canadian cities and a short commute time, giving you more time for what matters most - your home and family. The city is rich with cultural attractions, beautiful waterfront parks, and a diverse culinary scene. It’s an ideal place to establish a practice and enjoy a balanced lifestyle.

Why Windsor Regional Hospital?

·        Regional excellence: WRH serves as a regional hub for complex trauma, stroke, neurosurgery, cardiac care, neonatal intensive care, cancer services, and more

·        A future-focused institution: We’re preparing to break ground in 2026 on a 1.6M sq. ft. state-of-the-art acute care hospital, complemented by urgent care facilities and mental health services in the downtown core (http://www.wrh.on.ca/windsorhospitals)

·        Teaching and growth: Affiliated with the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at the University of Windsor, WRH is a community teaching hospital with significant resident and student engagement

Windsor Regional Hospital (WRH) offers the opportunity for a fantastic career in an award-winning health care facility. WRH is a 600 bed multi-site health service organization providing Acute Medical and Surgical Services including Renal, Trauma, Emergency, Family Birthing Centre, Neonatal Intensive Care, Paediatric Services, Critical Care (ICU/CCU), Regional Cancer Services (Inpatient Oncology, Windsor Regional Cancer Centre, Breast Health Centre), Neurosciences and Mental Health Services to 400,000+ people in Windsor and Essex County.
