Job description

Pediatrician

Full-time position available

Add more life to your career.

With our investments in people and leading edge, specialized services, it’s an amazing time to be a part of PRHC. PRHC is proud to be recognized as one of the top 20 employers nationwide in the healthcare and social services category, and 199 overall among 300 Canadian employers across all sectors, on the Canada’s Best Employers list released by Forbes in 2025.

American-trained physicians are encouraged to apply — we provide assistance with work permits if needed.

Pediatric clinics include: Complex Care Clinic, Personal Health Improvement Team (PHIT), Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome/High Risk Antenatal (NAS), Asthma/ Complex Respiratory Medicine, Diabetes Clinic, Emergency Room Follow-up, Urgent Care, Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario (POGO) and Infusion clinics.

The pediatric group provides continuous, shared call coverage, consultation services to the PRHC specialists, emergency room, and regional institutional partners as well as attendance at high-risk deliveries.

Position Qualifications:

• Applicants must hold, or be eligible to obtain, licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO). A clear and viable pathway to licensure must be established at the time of application and Surgeons of Ontario or eligible to obtain license
