Summer Locum Opportunity at FHO-FHT Group Practice

A collaborative, four-physician practice located in the east end of Hamilton is seeking locum support over the summer for the following dates:

·        Monday, June 22

·        Tuesday, June 23

·        Thursday, June 25

·        Monday, June 29

·        Tuesday, June 30

·        Thursday, July 2

·        Mondays in August

·        Tuesdays in August

·        Thursdays in August

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to work 3 days/week, or for someone who is looking for individual days over the summer.

Full day coverage will be from 9:00-4:00PM, with patient bookings from 9:00-12:00PM and 1:00-4:00PM. With most patients being booked for 20-minute appointments, the locum can expect to see 18-24 patients per day.

As part of the Hamilton Family Health Team, this well-equipped practice receives support from numerous allied health care professionals including a full-time nurse for each physician, registered dietitian, mental health counselor, youth worker and pharmacist. The practice also has amazing administrative support.

The practice uses Avaros EMR for patient records, Ocean for referrals, and AI Scribe. While each physician has two designated exam rooms, there are additional rooms available at times. Fresh coffee is available in the kitchenette, and there are small appliances and a fridge that can be used as well.

Candidates will receive a competitive daily rate, which also includes managing the days inbox/mail.
