Job Description
Current Incentives:
Total compensation: $2,430 base rate + $900 star day rate = $3,330/12-hour shift + 47.58% shadow billing.
Job Summary
The ED physician will see, on average, 55 patients per 24-hour shift
The ED Physician will be responsible for:
-assessing all visits presenting to the Emergency Department during the shift
-the rare calls from Nursing Care Unit (NCU) and Complex Continuing Care (CCC) after 2300 hours until 0700 hours regarding patient care
Supports:
-(2) RNs
-(1) RPN
-second on-call physician for back-up if needed
-Physician Assistant from 0800-1600 on weekdays
