Deep River & District Health is seeking URGENT locum coverage in our Emergency Department in the coming weeks:

• Day shifts (0600-1800 hrs) available:
  • Tuesday, August 25
  • Friday, August 28 (24 hour block available if interested)
  • Sunday, August 30
• Night shifts (1800-0600 hrs) available:
  • Saturday, August 22
  • Thursday, August 27 *start time 1600 or 1800*
  • Friday, August 28

Willing to discuss partial hours of coverage as well if better for your schedule. Stay for the stretch and take in the beauty of our picturesque community, or if it's better for you come on out for even just one shift to check out exceptional Emergency Department and team. Our current average volume is 38-42 patients in 24 hours with the majority being CTAS 3-4. Competitive hourly rates ($160/hr days, $170/hr nights & weekends) with an hourly seasonal top-up of an additional $70/hr for all shifts. Given the time frame of these shifts, we will be offering our holiday stat rate for any of the above indicated shifts ($200/hr), plus an additional summer time bonus of ($500/per shift).

Accommodations and in-house meals available, or if preferable to stay off-site if interested in the block of shifts, this can be arranged too.

Deep River is located two hours west of Ottawa and two hours east of North Bay, along the Ottawa River and Trans Canada Highway.
