Canadian Physician Opportunities

For Saskatoon (Jan 1, 2026 - Mar 31, 2026): In‑Province Locums $3,000/day guarantee via Fee‑For‑Service billings; Out‑of‑Province Locums $4,000/day flat rate. On‑call: eligible for Specialist On‑Call Remuneration (SECP). Flights/travel: standard/basic fares or mileage at SHA OOS rate. Travel time: $20/hour. Accommodation provided up to $200/night.

Independent contractor (contract): $223.40 per hour for hours worked.

Remuneration is in accordance with AHS contractor agreements.

Fee for Service On Call Stipend - Physicians are remunerated for being on call. Multiple Alberta Medical Association (AMA) Compensation Programs, including the Rural Remote Northern Program (RRNP), which provides a variable fee premium for Whitecourt of 17.30%.
