Job Description
We are currently looking for an Adolescent Medicine physician to fill a full-time/part-time position who will work collaboratively with the medical team and rehabilitation and developmental clinicians in the clinics and at SickKids. We are also open to hiring supervised physicians.
Boomerang Health, powered by SickKids, is a multidisciplinary paediatric clinic, independent but wholly owned by The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). We offer physician, rehabilitation, and developmental services up to age 18 and transitional-aged youth services up to age 25. Medical and rehab services are offered both in-person and virtually. Our paediatricians and paediatric specialists work Monday to Friday by appointment, as we do not provide urgent care or walk-in services. Our rehabilitation and developmental services are offered Monday to Sunday.
When you join Boomerang Health, you are joining an organization dedicated to reducing the complexities associated with the health and well-being of children and teenagers. Our connection to The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) requires a continuous commitment to high-quality patient care. Boomerang Health incorporates SickKids’ policies and best practices with oversight from a quality assurance committee. Boomerang Health employees can access training and education sessions at SickKids to stay up to date on the latest knowledge and research.
We are committed to working together, learning, and creating an environment where everyone feels safe, represented, included, respected, and valued at Boomerang Health. We cannot do this without a strong commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion. As people and healthcare professionals, we stand together against racism and oppression, which have a huge impact on the health of the many communities we serve. Moreover, Boomerang Health is an equal opportunity employer.
Benefits of working at Boomerang Health:
· Engagement with multidisciplinary teams in rehab and medical disciplines
· Opportunities for professional development and continued education
· Collaborative and supportive work environment
