Now Welcoming U.S. Trained Physicians
We are pleased to announce that U.S. trained physicians who are Canadian citizens (or those eligible to work in Canada) and hold U.S. Board Certification are eligible to practice independently in Ontario without the need for additional training or supervision. This is made possible through the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario's (CPSO) Alternative Pathways to Registration policy, which recognizes the equivalency of U.S. Board Certification. For more information, please visit: CPSO – Practicing in Ontario: Information for U.S.-Trained Physicians.
