About Watson Medical Clinic
Watson Medical Clinic is a primary care practice dedicated to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered healthcare to the Forest Hill community and surrounding areas. Our collaborative team of physicians and allied health professionals is committed to clinical excellence, preventive care, and building lasting relationships with our patients.
As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Allergist/Immunologist to join our multidisciplinary team and expand our in-house specialty services.
Position Overview
The Allergist/Immunologist will work closely with our primary care physicians to evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with allergic, asthmatic, and immunologic conditions. This is an exciting opportunity to build a thriving allergy practice within an established, well-supported clinic environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and consultations for patients referred by our primary care physicians
• Diagnose and manage a broad range of allergic and immunologic conditions including asthma, allergic rhinitis, food allergies, eczema, urticaria, anaphylaxis, and primary immunodeficiency disorders
• Perform and interpret allergy skin testing, spirometry, pulmonary function tests, and other diagnostic procedures
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and immunotherapy plans
• Administer and oversee allergen immunotherapy (subcutaneous and sublingual)
• Collaborate with primary care physicians and other specialists to coordinate integrated patient care
• Maintain thorough and timely clinical documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
Qualifications
Required
• Medical degree and valid medical license in Ontario (CPSO)
• Completion of an accredited Allergy & Immunology residency/fellowship program
• Certification or eligibility for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC) in Allergy & Immunology
