Job Description
Position Title: Anatomic or General Pathologist
Preferred subspecialty interest: Cytopathology, but other subspecialties will also be considered
Qualifications: Certification in Anatomical or General Pathology from the Royal College of Physicians
& Surgeons of Canada, or equivalent credentials
About Southlake Health: Rapidly growing community hospital within the Greater Toronto Area. Home to a leading Cancer Centre and Cardiothoracic Surgery Program. Academic affiliation with Toronto
Metropolitan University Medical School. Future academic affiliation with York University Medical School.
About Southlake Pathology:
• Dynamic & friendly team of 10.5 pathologists, 8+ weeks of vacation/CME, annual income according to the Ontario Uniform Minimum Level of Compensation (currently ~$418,920 CAD).
• Outstanding onsite IHC and flow cytometry laboratories to support our regional cancer program.
• Actively developing our in-house next generation sequencing (NGS) molecular genetics lab.
