URGENT! LOCUM ANESTHESIOLOGIST – QUINTE HEALTH (BELLEVILLE GENERAL HOSPITAL)
Quinte Health – Belleville General Hospital (BGH) is seeking Locum Anesthesiologists to support surgical services beginning February 2026.
Located in beautiful Belleville, Ontario, BGH is a regional centre in southeastern Ontario.
Belleville General has a multi-disciplinary team of supports overnight, including in-house Intensivist, Respiratory Therapists, Family and Internal Medicine Hospitals, Emergency Department physicians and a Critical Care Response Team.
The Opportunity
- Busy community hospital (Belleville General Hospital – Quinte Health)
- Emergent surgical cases starting after 4 p.m. Beyond 11 p.m. cover only A cases and obstetrics (epidurals and c-sections)
- Supportive OR nursing and perioperative team
- Shifts begin in January. We’re looking for physicians who enjoy a balanced schedule that includes weekday lists along with overnight and weekend shifts. We encourage all interested candidates to connect – we are happy to discuss flexible options and find a fit that works for you and our department
- The call is in hospital. Comfortable call room is available, with possibility of accommodation for someone doing multiple nights of call
