Job Description
The Physician is responsible for providing primary care functions and participating in the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of programs and services for individuals, families and the community and serve the vulnerable sector in a manner that increases access and decreases barriers to health care.
Details:
· 24 hours a week
· $189.61 Hourly Rate. To be invoiced bi-weekly
· Contract to May 8, 2026 with possibility of extension.
Requirements:
· Medical degree from a recognized university
· CCFP certification
· General license to practice from the Ontario College of Physicians and Surgeons
· Three to five years primary care experience, preferred but new graduates will be considered
· Previous experience in a CHC or working with vulnerable patients
· Previous experience working with Nurse Practitioners
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Proficiency in the use of computers and various software applications
· Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Practice Solutions experience would be an asset.
· Available to work one evening per week
