Position Overview

We are seeking a licensed physician to provide clinical consultation and oversight to our healthcare team including locum physicians and nurse practitioners. This remote consulting role focuses on case review, clinical guidance, and protocol development.

Key Responsibilities

• Review patient cases and provide clinical recommendations to locum physicians and nurse practitioners
• Develop and refine clinical treatment protocols for metabolic health, hormonal optimization, and preventative cardiology
• Provide asynchronous consultation on complex cases including biomarker analysis and imaging review
• Train and guide healthcare team members on clinical framework application
• Collaborate on treatment guidelines and clinical documentation standards
• Research emerging practices in preventative medicine to update protocols

Required Qualifications

• Current CPSO registration in good standing
• CCFP or FRCPC certification
• Current CMPA liability insurance
• Experience in preventative medicine, internal medicine, or cardiology
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
• Experience with case consultation or clinical oversight

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in men's health, metabolic medicine, integrative health or cardiovascular health (ideally)
• Experience mentoring or supervising healthcare providers, or good communication ability
• Research or protocol development experience or input

Position Details

• Type: Contract
• Location: Remote (Ontario licensed physicians only, but can be located out of province)
• Schedule: Flexible hours, asynchronous work
• Responsibilities: Case review and clinical consultation (no direct patient care)

Compensation

• $97.00 an hour
