ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Priority Health Clinic Group is recruiting a dermatologist or a family physician with a focused practice in dermatology (GP-dermatology) to join our clinic in Pickering, located in the Jerry Coughlan Health and Wellness Centre. Demand for dermatology care is high and we have a large volume of referrals waiting, so you can expect a very busy practice from the start.
We welcome applications from:
- Certified dermatologists (FRCPC, Dermatology)
- Family physicians with a focused practice, training or experience in dermatology
SCOPE OF PRACTICE
- Consultations for general medical dermatology referrals
- Skin cancer screening and lesion assessment
- Skin biopsies (punch and shave)
- Excisions of benign and suspicious lesions
- Cryotherapy
- Management of acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea and other chronic skin conditions
- Freedom to add further procedures and grow your practice, including private-pay and cosmetic services, if you're interested

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- A physician who holds, or is eligible for, an independent practice licence with the CPSO
- Dermatologists: FRCPC in Dermatology
- Family physicians: CCFP, with additional training or experience in dermatology (for example, a dermatology fellowship, an enhanced skills program or an established derm-focused practice)
- A physician who wants to build and grow a busy dermatology service
