Emergency Medicine Physician
(Full-Time, Part-Time, or Locum)
South Huron Hospital (Exeter, Ontario)
South Huron Hospital provides 24-hour emergency services, seven days a week to our community by expertly trained physicians and nurses.
Our emergency department specializes in quick assessment and treatment of patients with a wide range of illnesses from minor to life threatening. Our dedicated medical and nursing staff have extensive training in emergency medicine and stay current on best practices. The department is equipped with up-to-date equipment and technology to provide exceptional care. We have systems in place to consult specialists and transfer to other hospitals if higher level care is needed. We strive to provide excellence in emergency care for our patients and our community.

Compensation:

Accommodations:
· Accommodation supports available for locum physicians while on shift
Emergency Shifts:
· Day Shift: 08:00am to 6:00pm
· Evening Shift: 06:00pm to 08:00am
Service Delivery, Support & Specialties:
· 24/7 laboratory services
· Diagnostic imaging, pharmacy, allied health professionals on site.
· Strong primary care presence local physicians situated directly across the street.
Technology & Programs:
· CERNER: a fully integrated information system with onsite, office, and remote access
