Exceptional FHO Opportunity for Family Physicians

We are seeking a dedicated family medicine physician to take on a unique FHO (Family Health Organization) position serving the Nepean catchment area with a monthly salary of 34-36K.

As part of this role, you will:

• Work 2 days in person in our clinic, and 2 days virtually from home, enabling work-life balance, while ensuring continuity of care.
• Maintain regular clinic hours: 9:15 am–12:00 pm and 1:15 pm–4:30 pm on each of your working days.
• Provide comprehensive family medicine care: this includes patient assessments, diagnosis, treatment plans, chronic disease management, preventative care, follow-ups, care coordination, and appropriate referrals to specialists.
• Cover the after-hours clinic 1-2 x per month at most (3 hour shifts)

As of April 1, 2026, Ontario’s FHO model will transition to FHO+. This improved version of the FHO model recognizes both clinical and non-clinical work (including administrative tasks, patient rostering, and care coordination), increases shadow-billing rates, improves compensation for in-basket services, and introduces an $80/hour rate for ALL the clinical and administrative work you do IN ADDITION to your usual monthly payments.
