$298,763.20 - $345,888.80 per contract year (4-step primary health care compensation grid for 0.8 FTE inclusive of 176 clinic days per year and on-call requirements). Emergency room coverage remunerated at $255.96 per hour under the Rural Emergency Room Stabilization Agreement for Services.

The average gross income of a Psychiatrist in Alberta is $398,438. Compensation for this opportunity is based on a fee for-service model and may include additional program stipends.

The average gross income of a Family Medicine Physician in Alberta is $380,522. Compensation for this opportunity is based on a fee-for-service model and may include additional program stipends.

Remuneration will be on Fee For Service program.

Fee for Service Through the Outreach and Travelling Physician Support Policy, Visiting Specialists are eligible for monetary supports: The outreach financial incentive, at a minimum, requires one way travel greater than 50kms, and pays at $1/kms up to a maximum 500kms one way. Zonal Medical Affairs will calculate payments using a round-trip amount on a monthly basis. For approved outreach service requests AHS will remunerate mileage/car rentals/taxis, meals, flights and accommodation in keeping with the AHS Travel Policy.
