The Oceanside and Arbutus Tertiary Geriatric Psychiatry teams seek a part-time General Practitioner/Family Physician.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•medical responsibility for patients under your care at both sites, proactively dealing with medical issues and liaising with specialists as and when needed, available for medical assessment for new admissions, available to contribute to complex family situations
•flexibility to help out with new admissions/MHAct forms when needed
•participation in the on-call Rota covering both sides
•providing cross-coverage to other GP colleagues

Compensation:

- Sessional Payment / Alternative Payment Plan

Qualifications

- CPSBC Eligible for Full License, or CPSBC Full, or CPSBC Provisional,
- CMPA (required), ACLS (optional)

Qualifications:
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (Desired); Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) License (Full); Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) (Mandatory); Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) (Mandatory)
