Job Description

Location: 955 Major MacKenzie Dr W #201, Vaughan, Ontario.

We are a group of 5 family physicians, part of a larger FHO group of 45 physicians, at Gates of Maple Family Practice near Bathurst and Major MacKenzie. We are currently looking for a family physician to take over the practice of a leaving physician.

This position is available starting May 1 2026 or earlier and for a patient size of approximately 1300.


About Our Practice:

  • Collegial and supportive physician colleagues
  • Located in a lovely neighbourhood with a diverse patient population; there is still high demand for family physicians
  • Minimal after-hours/weekend commitment — approximately 2 shifts every 3 months (one evening and one weekend)
  • Cost-sharing agreement for the overhead.
  • EMR: Telus PS Suite with integrated Ocean for secure messaging; supports remote access
  • 5 physician workstations and 8 spacious exam rooms
  • Flexible scheduling

  • On-site lab (Dynacare)
  • On-site imaging (Xray Associates) and rehab
  • On-site specialists, including pediatricians, cardiologists.
