We are looking for a family physician for Family Practice and Walk-In patient care servicing geriatric and a growing number of younger families, for our St.Catharines, Ont. location.  Our clinic is over 12 years old and currently services approximately 200 patients per day. The current 4 family physicians have full practices and we have patients requesting a family doctor on a daily basis.  We operate as an F.H.G and are starting an F.H.O.  We manage all aspects of the practice with our experienced team consisting of R.P.N.s, medical assistants, receptionists and an office manager. We also operate, concurrently, a walk-in clinic. The walk-in clinic is open every day including holidays.  We offer a competitive fee for service split billing to the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP).  The wage based on 8 patients per hour for 8 hours a day for 50 weeks a year works out to approximately $450,000.00 per year. We constantly invest our resources to promote our clinic to ensure steady patient volume and growth. The candidate must hold a medical degree, specialty certification (CFPC or ABFM), currently or eligible for registration with the C.P.S.O. and must have Family Practice experience with a strong command of the English language.  Minimum 3 year contract.
