 Opportunity

à Sault Area Hospital, a 293 bed facility, is seeking an Paediatrician, either permanent or locum to cover on call services.  With approximately 900 births annually and a Level 2C 10 bed NICU and a 8 bed inpatient unit. 

à Affiliation with the Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM) provides the opportunity to teach residents and medical students.  Faculty appointments are encouraged.  Research is supported by the Sault Ste. Marie Academic Medical Association.

à Daily flights from Air Canada and Porter for ease of transportation. 1 hr flights from Toronto. 

License &  Eligibility

à Candidates must be fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RSCPC) and hold an independent practice license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).

Remuneration

à Remuneration is attractive and competitive.

à Locums receive expense reimbursement through the OH NSLP program.  

à Physicians receive travel sessionals based on travel time

à Daily honorariums for work and travel

à Work on call sessionals or Fee For Service

***Dates are flexible and you do not need to come for the full duration listed below! You can visit us anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks.  Weekends are preferred but weekdays are welcomed. ***
