Job Description

Cornwall Community Hospital is currently looking for a Full Time Paediatrician.  

We value high quality medical care, collaborative interdisciplinary team management and a positive working relationship with specialists and our primary care physicians.

The hospital provides a wide range of medical specialties which include: Anaesthesia, Dentistry, Emergency, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, General and Family Practice, Gynaecology, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Obstetrics, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, Rehabilitation and Urology as well as an excellent Radiology Service with Ultrasound, CT Scan and MRI.

Job Description

  • To treat and diagnose paediatric patients within the community and hospital.  The successful candidate would provide 1:4 call coverage with the other members of the department. 

Credentials

  • Successful candidate would require an independent CPSO license or qualify for a Restricted license
  • Must be NRP certified

Experience

  • Minumum 1.5 years working in own private office setting

Salary

  • Fee for service billing through the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP)
