Job Description
Cornwall Community Hospital is a schedule 1 hospital seeking full-time psychiatrists to join our community.
We are a schedule 1 hospital, which includes:
- ® A newly renovated 16 bed in-patient unit that works on a multi-disciplinary approach
- ® Out-patient services
- ® Day Hospital
- ® Emergency Services
- ® Liaison Psychiatric Consultation
We also have a Community Mental Health Service, which consists of:
- ® Community out-patient Adult General Psychiatry
- ® Assertive Community Mental Health Services
- ® Mental Health Crisis Team
- ® Addiction Services
- ® Withdrawal Management Services
Our current psychiatry team provides high quality primary care to inpatients and community patients. We value high quality medical care, collaborative interdisciplinary team management and a positive working relationship with our primary care physicians and specialists, including 6 Internists, 5 General Surgeons, 4 Orthopaedic Surgeons, 3 gynaecologists, ENT and Neurology.
Remuneration is through fee for service billing of approximately $300,000 to 350,000.00 annually.
