Exciting Family Physician/Enhanced Surgical Skills Opportunities in Golden, BC!

We invite physicians trained in performing cesarean sections to join the Golden Medical Clinic and Golden and District Hospital, a close-knit and multidisciplinary team committed to exceptional patient care. Our clinic and hospital are built on a foundation of collaboration, support, and a commitment to the health of our community. We understand the importance of work-life balance and have designed an accommodating, flexible schedule.

We currently function with two enhanced surgical skilled physicians, and one obstetrical surgical trained physician. We are seeking a fourth surgical call provider trained in obstetrical care. Call volume is 1 in 4, however, we often will assist each other on cases and strive to provide a supportive environment for our physicians. Skills required: Vacuum-assisted vaginal delivery, performing cesarean section, optional - D&C

Additional opportunities include family medicine practice paid through the Longitudinal Family Physician (LFP) Payment Model, and emergency shifts - compensated under the new Alternative Payments Subsidiary Agreement (APSA) contract.

Qualifications:
Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) License (Full); Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) (Mandatory)
