Job Description
The North Bay Regional Health Centre, Service of Otolaryngology is seeking locums, to provide on-call coverage, including emergency consultation and surgery.
Locums dates are flexible
Community Information:
Known as Ontario’s Gateway City, North Bay is located 3.5 hours north of Toronto and 3.5 hours west of Ottawa. With a population of 54 000, it is a welcoming community that offers a healthy and balanced environment for working, living and raising a family. Hospital Information:
North Bay Regional Health Centre is a unique health care organization with three primary roles: providing acute care services to North Bay and its surrounding communities, functioning as the district referral center providing specialist services for smaller communities in the area, and it is the specialized mental health service provider serving all of northeast Ontario. Qualifications
- RCPSC otolaryngology certification
- CPSO Independent license to practice
- Community ENT skill set
Remuneration:
- OHIP Fee for Service Billings for services provided
- Daily Hospital On-Call Coverage (HOCC) stipend.
- Free Hospital parking provided
Locums are NSLP Respite + funded:
- Travel & accommodation expenses are reimbursed in line with NSLP guidelines
- Daily honourarium for clinical days, in line with NSLP guidelines
- Travel sessionals in line with NSLP guidelines
- Travel honorarium for locum travel days to/from the community, in line with NSLP guidelines
