Job Description
Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH), located in Barrie, Ontario, is currently seeking Locum Obstetrician and Gynecologists to join the Department of Obstetrics.
RVH is a state-of-the-art facility offering a wide range of medical services with plans for expansion. As the largest hospital in Simcoe-Muskoka, RVH serves a diverse population with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. The RVH Obstetrics and Gynecology program is a Level 2 NICU (30 weeks gestation and over) and manages over 2,000 deliveries per year.
The Department of Obstetrics at RVH offers a dedicated Physician Assistant, available Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm. The Physician Assistants works collaboratively with the Obstetrician and the clinical team to round on postpartum patients, manage triage patients and assist with C-sections. There is the potential for locums to transition to full-time, as RVH is currently hiring two (2) FTE OB/GYN positions.
