ByWard Family Health (BWFHT), located on 200 - 316 Rideau St, Ottawa, aims to inspire and support the health & well-being of the individuals and communities we serve.  We offer comprehensive multidisciplinary primary healthcare services with several areas of specialized care supported by Telus Input Health's cloud-based Collaborative Health Record (CHR).

We are looking for several individual Physicians interested in a FHO practice.

Criteria for this opportunity are as follows:

• The successful candidates must be licensed to practice in Ontario;
• Bilingual (English and French) is a strong asset;
• Participation in FHO after-hours evening and weekend coverage in addition to regular clinical time as per BWFHT FHO procedures;
• Recognition that BWFHT FHO is affiliated with BWFHT FHT and therefore, patients will have access to FHT Nurse Practitioners, other Allied Health Practitioners and CDMP Programs;
• Previous, demonstrated experience in administrative, governance or clinical leadership roles. Interest and/or commitment (in the absence of experience) will be given consideration;
• Sub-specialties and/or unique skills/experience that provide added value to BWFHT FHO will be given consideration;
• Ability to start practice within a reasonable timeframe;
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to inter-professional care are essential.
• Experience in a high-volume setting would be an asset.
