Central Park Medical Clinic – Ottawa, Ontario
Central Park Medical Clinic (CPMC) is seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time Obstetrician to join our expanding multidisciplinary medical team in Ottawa.
CPMC is a well-established physician-led clinic with a strong pediatric focus and eight Pediatricians currently on staff. As we continue to grow — including the opening of a second location at 942 Merivale Road in Summer 2026 — we are expanding our women’s health and obstetrical services to better support families from pregnancy through early childhood.
The Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to develop and grow an obstetrical practice within a collaborative, community-based medical environment.
We envision:
- Community-based prenatal care
- Postpartum follow-up
- Collaboration with Pediatricians for newborn transition of care
- Integrated referral pathways for maternal mental health and lactation support
There is strong demand in the region for accessible obstetrical services, and the clinic offers an established referral network and administrative infrastructure.

Location
Our primary clinic is located in Nepean East, directly across from the Experimental Farm and just 3 km from The Ottawa Hospital – Civic Campus.
Our second location at 942 Merivale Road will open in Summer 2026, further expanding access to care in Ottawa’s west end.
Ideal Candidate
- FRCSC in Obstetrics and Gynecology (or eligible for licensure in Ontario)
- Active hospital privileges (or eligible)
- Interest in community-based collaborative care
- Commitment to patient-centered, family-focused practice
