A full time general ob/gyn locum is required for 6 months starting in April 2025 at Collingwood General and Marine Hospital. The successful candidate will be required to provide a full scope of obstetrical and gynecologic care to a large range of patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings. The locum will include ambulatory care and OR time. Call requirements will include approximately six 24 hour home call shifts per month, with the potential option to pick up more depending on availability. 

There are approximately 550 deliveries per year. There are currently 5 full time ob/gyn practicing in Collingwood. Private office is shared with two colleagues and is located across the street from the hospital. In office obstetrical care is through a shared care model, and gynecologic practices are separate. Salary is through a generous alternative payment plan. CGMH is a Level 1 community hospital with very friendly and welcoming colleagues including anesthetists, family doctors and midwives. 

Collingwood is a town approximately two hours north of Toronto. It is located on South Georgian Bay right next to Blue Mountain. Collingwood is a family friendly city with many opportunities to explore nature, dine at superb restaurants, and take part in cultural events.
