Position Overview:

We are looking for a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist with excellent people skills to do a limited number of consults for our patients (1-2/patient) although the opportunity to do more is available. The consults will be to evaluate a well-defined specific issue post-concussion (e.g., headache). Each separate issue will have a dedicated appointment. These are highly motivated patients who are engaging in behavioural and lifestyle interventions to prepare for a return-to-work and other activities they have had to give up because of their injury

Time commitment: 4-6 hours per week. Opportunity to add more hours available if interested.

Income:

• Billings: 3 consultations per hour, so estimated billings $485/hour net to you (OHIP). No HST charged.

Location: Virtual, appointments done over OTN.

Hours: flexible

Admin: Complete Admin support. No admin work - you just have to complete your notes (Accuro EMR) - several templates to choose from and can help you create your own. Extensive questionnaires are already completed prior to appointments to cut down on charting and we can help you create the ones you would like.

Requirements: licenced to practice medicine in Ontario

The Toronto Concussion Clinic offers a multi-disciplinary, consultation-based service for post-concussion patients. This is a fascinating field that deals with psychoeducation, functional performance, sensory integration and holistic care.
