Position Summary
 
Assisted Living Alberta (ALA) is committed to delivering high-quality, resident-centered care that meets the needs of Albertans while advancing shared accountability for improved health outcomes. ALA is seeking an experienced physician leader to serve as Rural Medical Director, Continuing Care Homes - Edmonton Corridor. The Rural Medical Director will provide leadership and support for the Edmonton rural continuing care homes, including communities north and east of Edmonton.

 
Key Responsibilities
 
Collaborate with medical and operational leaders; provide medical oversight; support quality assurance and critical incident reviews; chair Site Lead Medical Committee meetings; develop policies and procedures; conduct annual performance reviews; and promote excellence in resident care and quality improvement

Qualifications

Eligibility for independent licensure with CPSA; CFPC or RCPSC certification or equivalent; leadership experience in healthcare; strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
