Hospitalist Coverage Required:

-July 8th, 8am until July 10th, 8am

Nursing Care Unit

-25 Acute Care beds (daily)

-6 ALC (2x/week)

-19 Complex Continuing Care (monthly)

-1 Hospice Suite (as needed)

You will have support from:

-RNs, RPNs, PSWs

-Discharge Planner

-Social workers

-Pharmacist

-Respiratory Therapist

-Physiotherapist

Meditech Expanse 

Travel and accomodation expenses

-daily $363.57 honorarium for every approved work and travel day

-accommodations and travel expenses through Health Force Ontario’s Northern Specialist Locum Program (NSLP).

Job Description

-complete daily rounds

-be available by phone from 0800-2200.

-be responsible for calls from the Long Term Care Department from 2000 until 0700 hours (infrequent).

Pay Structure

Daily rate:$556.30

Hospital stipend: $793.70

Temporary top-up: $150.00

Daily total: $1500.00*

*The hospitalist retains the applicable Fee for service Billings (averages $1000-$1300/day)

ED Back-Up (optional)

-respond to ED backup should the ED become overly busy, or the ED physician have to leave on a transfer with a critically ill patient.

-hourly EDAFA pay for time spent working in the ED

-$500/24-hour (should you choose to also cover ED back-up)
