This clinic is a family practice walk-in hybrid located in North Vancouver’s Marine Drive, it is easily accessible by both transit and car. There is 1 part-time and 3 full-time physicians working in this clinic. They also regularly have residents and medical students as this is a teaching site.

The clinic’s director is looking for a physician to take over a part of her patient panel as she plans to dedicate some more time to long-term care. Her panel contains patients of all ages and ethnicities with a large complex patient panel.

The chosen candidate would take over a pre-determined number of patients and would have room to grow their practice by taking patients from the walk-in, from other physicians through the DoFP, from VCH clinics and hospital discharges, as well as other unattached patients in the community.

Hours: The clinic is currently open from Monday-Friday, 9:00-17:00 and Saturdays: 9:00-14:00. The new physician will work out a schedule with the clinic.

Average Monthly Overhead Agreement: Billing Split – 75/25*
*The financial agreement in the clinic is coordinated through the clinic’s director.

The current physician’s MSP billing for 2021 is well above $450,000 CAD*
*Physicians can work different hours, see more or less patients, and create their own practice style.

Past billing doesn’t dictate the new candidates expected billing.

The clinic currently has 2 physicians and 4 MOA’s who can all help with the transition process.

Qualifications:

Hold or soon to attain Certification in the College of Family Physicians (CCFP).
Hold or eligible for full license to practice medicine in BC.
Good standing with BC's College of Physicians and Surgeons.
No hospital privileges required.
