Simply Wellness Medical, an efficient and collaborative clinic committed to providing high-quality primary care to patients in the community, is looking to grow their team. The renovated office in Vancouver, near Kingsway and Commercial Drive, offers a passionate team of primary care providers and experienced support staff.

Coverage Request for 1 year starting April 1, 2025 (open to shorter terms and start date can be flexible between April to June 2025).

Panel size: ~ 1200 patients, spanning 0-100 years old, skewed toward young families and middle-aged population. The FP has been building their panel since early 2021. Currently 50/50 in-person and virtual, 4 days / week. Flexible scheduling. LFP model for payment. Possibility of extending NTP contract if this is desired.

75/25, 80/20 shifts on weekends and after business hours, 100% LFP Panel Payments.

The clinic has 10 fully equipped exam rooms and a central provider charting room. They currently have 6 full-time family physicians, 1 full-time nurse practitioner, 2-3 regular locum physicians for timely cross coverage, and 1 full-time registered nurse heavily involved in optimizing their primary care practice. A RN helps with infant immunizations and assessments, forms, injections, recalls, relaying medical information to patients, triage, preventative health screenings, and chronic disease management. They also have Cardiology and Orthopedic specialists that are available in-clinic ~ weekly.

The clinic’s experienced support team of MOAs are pivotal for our efficient and organized workflow, both in-office and virtually. For example, the clinic staff take patient vitals, ensure room preparation and procedure set-up, assist with referral tracking and billing support and follow-up on tasks in a timely manner. The clinic conducts appointments both virtually and in person. Providers manage their own customizable schedules for both virtual and in-office care. The team-centered approach allows for flexible and reliable vacation coverage. Billing is done directly through the EMR.

With the support of their EMR and built-in virtual technology, daily processes are streamlined. This includes online appointment booking, encounter templates for faster charting, pre-visit questionnaires, and automatic patient notifications to reduce no-shows. The secure patient portal makes sending lab requisitions, prescriptions, and patient communication much easier. They have great cross coverage support and efficient protocols in place to ensure there is timely access to appointments for patients.
