ACADEMIC ANESTHESIOLOGISTS


The Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, is accepting applications for academic clinical anesthesiologists. Candidates must possess a Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada fellowship or equivalent with additional clinical or research fellowship training. Candidates must also be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. The position will consist of a mix of clinical anesthesiology, teaching and research. The position includes general, pediatric, obstetric and postoperative management of patients.
Qualified applicants will hold an MD degree (or equivalent). Preference will be given to applicants who have a strong track record or postgraduate education for innovative scholarly work. Applicants must demonstrate strong potential for outstanding teaching contributions as well as evidence of an ability to work in an interdisciplinary, collaborative environment. Referees who can attest to the applicant’s expertise are required.
