Anesthesiologist – Vaughan Pain Clinic

Vaughan Pain Clinic is currently seeking an Anesthesiologist to join our growing multidisciplinary pain management team. We are looking for a qualified and motivated physician with an interest in chronic pain management, interventional pain procedures, image-guided injections, and outpatient procedural care.

The successful candidate will work alongside experienced pain physicians, interventional specialists, and clinical support staff in a modern outpatient clinic environment focused on improving patient function, quality of life, and long-term pain management outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

The Anesthesiologist will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients with chronic pain and related conditions. Duties may include performing comprehensive consultations, developing individualized treatment plans, ordering and interpreting diagnostic investigations, providing follow-up care, and collaborating with physicians and allied health professionals.

The physician may assess and treat patients with chronic back and neck pain, neuropathic pain, radiculopathy, arthritis-related pain, migraine and headache-related pain, post-surgical pain, soft tissue pain, and other complex pain conditions. The role may also include performing or supporting interventional pain procedures such as nerve blocks, epidural injections, facet joint injections, trigger point injections, radiofrequency ablation, and other image-guided pain management procedures, where clinically appropriate and within the physician’s scope of practice.

The physician will also be expected to maintain accurate medical records, communicate effectively with referring physicians, and contribute to a professional, patient-centered clinical environment.

Qualifications

Applicants must be eligible for or currently hold registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO). Candidates should have training and experience in Anesthesiology, with an interest or experience in chronic pain management, procedural medicine, regional anesthesia, or interventional pain care considered an asset.

Strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary clinic setting are required.

Compensation and Schedule

This is a full-time position based on 40 hours per week, with compensation at $125.00 per hour under a fee-for-service payment model. Scheduling may be flexible depending on clinic needs and physician availability.
