Participation in the General Medicine call schedule is not required.

Strong clinical and cardiac imaging skills will be expected. Level III certification in echocardiography, Cardiac CT, or Cardiac MRI is an asset but not required. At least Level II nuclear certification is also desirable but not required. Particular interest or expertise in congestive heart failure will be looked upon favourably.

Applicants must be licensed or eligible for a license to practice in Ontario with accreditation in Cardiology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or its equivalent.  A strong interest in teaching would be an asset as Lakeridge Health is associated with Queen’s University and the successful candidate is encouraged to pursue an academic appointment.
