As a Family Physician in Almonte you will have the opportunity to engage in a wide range of clinical activities including in-patient care, emergency medicine, long-term care, Family Medicine Obstetrics , Anesthesia and surgical assists.
The Almonte Family Health Organization is dedicated to delivering exceptional care through a collaborative approach.
Our team includes: 15 skilled Family Physicians, a dedicated pediatrician, an in house Dermatlogist and Psychiatrist.
Addtionally, the Almonte FHO is colocated with the Ottawa Valley Family Health Team (OVFHT). The OVFHT includes Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Dieticians, Pharmacists, Occupational Therapists and Psychotherapists all within the same building.
The clinic offers an array of programs and services including Diabetes Management, Cardiovascular Disease program, Congestive Heart Failure program, Hypertension Program, Cardiac Rehab, Smoking Cessation, Mental Health program, Well Women program along with a memory clinic.
