Canadian Physician Opportunities

Contract position; eligible for the Rural Physician Incentive Program (RPIP) of up to $200,000. A relocation allowance may be available from the Saskatchewan Health Authority (return-in-service required).

Contract. Daily rate $1,592–$1,752 per 24-hour day (4-step grid dependent on experience). Accommodations provided. Mileage $0.51/km for one return trip per locum assignment. Travel time $20/hour for one return trip per locum assignment.

Fee-For-Service (FFS); benefits and professional expenses are the responsibility of the physician unless otherwise specified in an agreement.

Clinical Service Contract

Clinical Service Contract; options include Longitudinal Family Physician Payment Model, consideration for a New-to-Practice Contract (pending Ministry of Health approval), or Fee-for-Service.

Combination; eligible for additional remuneration under the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including Retention Premium 22.82%; flights within BC funded; personal vehicle reimbursement $0.63/km; fully furnished accommodation provided.

Income Guarantee Option 1 (includes FFS, RRP, and MOCAP): Morning 05:00-13:00 $2,820 weekday / $2,972 weekend; Afternoon 13:00-20:00 $2,417 weekday / $2,569 weekend; Night 20:00-05:00 $3,376 per shift (weekday or weekend). Travel and accommodation covered; travel stipend $250–$1,500 (max $1,500 per round trip). Option 2 (No income guarantee): FFS estimated $3,380–$4,030 per shift (includes $1,000 shift stipend, 21.70% MSP premium, and $25.68 MOCAP). Fee-for-Service; may be eligible for Rural Subsidiary Agreement remuneration including 21.70% retention premium.

Up to $3,500/shift + MOCAP + REEF; based on an hourly rate for on-site care. Alternative Payment Arrangement. Travel and accommodation covered; travel stipend $250–$1,500 (max $1,500 per round trip). May be eligible for Rural Subsidiary Agreement remuneration including 23.38% retention premium.
