Bluewater Health is seeking Emergency Physicians committed to providing high-quality emergency care to the residents of Sarnia–Lambton. Preferred qualifications include CCFP(EM), FRCPC, ABEM, or extensive Emergency Medicine experience, along with ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certification. Locum arrangements can be supported to enable interested candidates to assess clinical fit and practice environment at Bluewater Health, exploring both professional practice and community life in Sarnia–Lambton, before transitioning to full-time privileges.

The Emergency Department manages over 60,000 patient visits annually, offering a broad case mix and consistent exposure to high-acuity and diverse pathology.

Mentorship Program for CCFP graduates interested in Emergency Medicine

Bluewater Health is offering a 6-12 month Emergency Medicine Mentorship Program for motivated early-career physicians seeking to transition into independent ED practice. The program provides tailored clinical exposure and mentorship to build confidence across the full scope of Emergency Department care and strengthen procedural skills and high-acuity decision-making. Our goal is to support committed physicians in progressing to independent practice and long-term membership with our Emergency Physician group.
