Qualifications:
Successful candidates will hold certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology & Metabolism and be eligible for provisional or regular licensure from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS) to practice in Saskatchewan.This individual should be a team player, be able to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, staff and management, and function well in a high volume environment with a commitment to provision of high quality patient and family centered care.The successful applicant is expected to participate in the undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing medical education programs of the Department of Medicine in the Regina Area and will be appointed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan.All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; in accordance with immigration requirements, preference will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada.The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) requires a criminal record check (CRC) from every potential SHA team member. The CRC must be dated within the past six (6) months and be satisfactory to the SHA.
