A family practice & maternity medical clinic, located in Fairview, is seeking permanent Family Physicians to join their team starting June 1, 2022. This practice has been in existence for almost 35 years, and they have created a supportive team environment for patients and staff. There are currently six part-time Family Physicians working out of this clinic, with three members of their team within their first 10 years of practice. There are three to four FPs working at a given time, and three to four MOAs per shift to support FPs. There are six exam rooms and one common doctor's office space. Although some of the clinic physicians specialize in maternity care and women's health, this is not a requirement of a new physician.

An incoming physician could see an average of 32-40 patients per day, with the current patient population ranging from newborns to seniors. The incoming physician can attach patients as per their interest. English is the primary language at this clinic, however physicians at this clinic also speak French, Spanish, and Serbian, and any other language spoken is considered an asset. There is group on-call, and each physician takes a turn to provide telephone, after-hours on-call.

This clinic has a pharmacy, LifeLabs and X-ray facility in the building, as well as some specialty practices. The waiting room is a large, shared area, which has been useful during the covid pandemic restrictions. This opportunity is open to both fully and provisionally licensed candidates.
